What's in my hospital bag [third pregnancy].

I am just about to be 36 weeks pregnant + feeling all the pelvic pressure a mama can feel. My OB wanted me to get past the point where I was when I went into labor with Leo (34wks 6 days). His arrival was such a surprise to us all and needless to say, it turned out just the way it was supposed to and all was fine. But… as soon as they wheeled me out of the operating room I was on my Target Circle app placing orders for things we needed and making a list of things that Fabian can grab from the house for us to have at the hospital.

This time around… I am packing my bag. It really is the only thing that I can have control over at this point. After doing this a couple of times I truly know what I need and what I don’t need. If you’re a first-time mama… you’re going to overpack and it’s ok. Go for it! But if there is one solid tip I can give you it’s this…

LEAVE ROOM IN YOUR BAG TO TAKE HOME ANY SUPPLIES THE HOSPITAL GIVES YOU

[ Think Ross from FRIENDS, when he leaves the hotel with Chandler and his suitcase filled with all the amenities. That should be you! ]

That being said, here’s what’s going into my hospital bag!

FOR MOM: Smiley Tote // Maternity Sleep Sets // Front Buttoned Gown // Nursing Bra // Ava Birkenstock Sandals // Going Home Outfit // Nyssa Fourth Trimester Underwear // Face Wipes // Peppermint Oil // Hair Ties // Lip Balm // 5 Minute Beauty Bag (this can include shower essentials, toothpaste, toothbrush, skincare, makeup, dry shampoo, etc. basically any items you can use in 5 min or less to help you feel more you, ) // Pillow + Blanket (make sure they are colored or patterned so you don’t mistake them for the white hospital bedding) // Stanley Tumbler // Long Charge Cord // Camera (your iPhone will work just fine too) // *Ember Mug (this is something extra bougie I am bringing this time around because it never fails, I am always feeding when breakfast gets served or someone brings me Starbucks. This mug keeps your coffee hot!)

FOR BABY: Car Seat // Car Seat Cover // Neutral Onesies (I suggest newborn sizes unless you know for sure you make big babies like me) // Swaddle Blanket // Birth Announcement Items
